Cape Point has got to be one of the most beautiful spots in the world - andit has huge potential for kitesurfing. The Poleboarders have been going toCape Point since the eighties and now more and more kiters are waking up tothe fact that we have a worldclass spot 85km's from TableView.
Carlo from iKiteboarding.com will be venturing down to take photos over thecoming weeks and we almost hit it perfect last Saturday with solid swell, but unfortunately only 10knots of wind - check out the pics. The pics withme sailing were taken a few weeks earlier in poor light and a, for CapePoint, small to medium swell.
To gather when Cape Point has wind took the polers a few years to figure outso we won't be letting out all the secrets here - all I can say is that'soften when you least expect it!

How you launch the kite, sand or rocks?,is it safe?,thankx
There's a little beach in between the rocks. I wouldn't call it your average beach - if something goes wrong in stronger wind you'll probably end up on the rocks. Also wind is cross off, so for advanced riders only.
