1. Ride switch and move your body forward. Grab the nose with your front hand and pull the kite with your back hand with speed to 12 o clock.

2 - 4. Pop hard and launch while you initiate a frontspin (Move your your head and shoulders forward)

5. enjoy the flight and keep spinning, keep the kite at 12

6. You grabbed enough, now concentrate on the last half of the 360 rotation

7 - 9. pull the kite forward towards 3 o clock and spin your body on with your shoulder moving forwards

10 - 11. pull the kite forward towards 3 o clock and spin your body on with your shoulder moving forwards

Key Points:
- pull the kite not as hard back as on a high jump, maximum 12 o'clock in strong winds or 1 or 11 o'clock in lighter winds
- pause the kite above you ideally at 12 and keep the bar level
- use pop or a small wave to get lift
- use your shoulders to rotate and don’t stop rotating

Er...switch is riding heelside with your weaker leg behind (i.e. goofy foot riding left foot forward heelside or regular foot riding right foot forward heelside).
This is a toeside frontloop nosegrab transition innit?

Anyway I don't mean to moan 'cuz I like these Hot to's. Keep 'em coming.

One thing I've learnt that not many people tell you is that 'pop' consists less of springing with your legs and more of a short, sharp (but smooth) edge upwind as if you're really trying to stretch out your kitelines. Get this right and the rotation follows without effort at all.

Even if you feel real uncomfortable riding toeside this technique will let you land simple front and back loops and make you look better than you really are!!

'pop' comes from tension in the lines (rope)...can be achieved in a variety of ways, and/ or blended all together for the perfect 'pop'!
