Kevin Langeree dominates the PKRA World Tour

For the first time in 4 years, there is a new #1 ranked rider in the world.  Kevin Langeree (NED) overtook the points lead on the tour and now has the #1 ranking all to himself.

“This feels amazing,” said Langeree.  “I have been working so hard to get to this point and it feels great to have accomplished my goal.  The job is not done yet, though, I still have a few events to go.”

After finishing 1st at the recent PKRA Tarifa stop, Langeree now holds his fate in his own hands.  More than likely, as long as he finishes higher than defending champ Aaron Hadlow for the rest of the events, Langeree will be the new world champ.  The next stop is in Fueteventura at the end of July.

Alex Pastor (ESP) finished 5th in the event and Madison Van Heurck (USVI) and Michi Schitzhofer (AUT) were 9th to round out the strong Naish finish.

On the women’s side, Karolina Winkowska (POL) finished 2nd in the event to increase her already strong world ranking.
