The guys at IKSURFMAGE have just spent the last two months working really hard to bring you one of the biggest and best issues yet. I know we say that every time but at 167 pages this is the biggest magazine we have ever put together. It is packed with articles, but our proudest has to be the ten years of kitesurfing piece. Did you know kitesurfing was “officially” born in 1998, but that the first inflatable kite was patented way back in 1984? Were you aware a chicken loop was called a chicken loop as chickens used it and real men flew two line kites? At over 10,000 words it is the biggest article we have ever put together and we have resourced photos from the archives from all over the globe. So feast your eyes on a real piece of kitesurfing history!

Of course there is more to the latest issue than just that though, Christian and Karine give you three variations of a back loop and we catch up with Cameron Dietrich and find out what goes on behind the scenes at Cabrinha’s R&D department.
