1/2 hour via paved road from La Paz Airport. Mex 286 to Los Planes, left to La Ventana a couple of miles before reaching Los Planes.
Taxi or shuttle. Shuttle can be arranged by any of the 5 local resorts.
Captain Kirk's. Secluded cabana house trailers with beautiful ocean views, nice clubhouse and party deck, helpful staff and excellant lessons.

Kayaking, Beach Combing, Mountain Bikes, Sportfishing, Bird Watching.
$55 per day, lodging included.
Very consistant, 80% of the afternoons. Range is 15 - 30 mph.
November through April.
Water temp ranges from 68 to 75 degrees. Nice smooth swell with little or no cross chop, good ramps!
Stingrays inhabit the sandy areas, urchins inhabit the rocky areas.
Ozzy Ramirez at Captain Kirk's, Aaron or BJ Hansen at Jaunita's.
The local resort who provides lessons is Captain Kirk's, other resorts who contract out for lessons are Mr. Bill's,
Kurt 'n Marina, Baja Joe's, Pelican Reef, and Ventana Windsurf.

A huge beach with lots of options. Some spots are a little tight like Kite beach in Maui but are very safe with safe launching techniques. Huge downwind catch beach, no getting blown out to sea. Zodiac rescue boat on site.
