Arrive in CPT International and grab a car from one of the many car hire companies available. Jump in the car and head for the R27 West Coast Road, which is 2 exits out of the N1 North from the CBD. The exit after Woodstock.
Head through and past all of the buildings and stop lights until you get to a straight road with the sea on your left. After about 50 mins you will pass the West Coast 1 Stop (Garage) and you turn left to Langebaan. 10k along there you arrive in the town.
A car is a must. Or you can arrange a trip on the JoJo bus if needed.

Plenty of wind from 0 - 40kts !
Not very gusty at all and normally enough wind to bring most people to their knees
September trhough to April for kiteboarding
Any other time of year for anything else
A lot warmer than Cape Town and flat. Some current movement around the tide change creates a little chop through the channel.
Head into the National Park and the water is up to 24c in Summer!
The rocks along the North Beach and of course drunken fishermen!
Head to main beach or into Cape Sports Center - 022 7721114 there are normally plenty of people hanging around

The center provides IKO Instruction, rentals and sales. Agents for Naish, Takoon and Gaastra.
Try to stay away form the rocks and do not head to the far side of the bay (Military Area!)
THe Main Beach at Langebaan is a great place for learners and intermediates, with the top guys going off of the point. THe wind grows throughout the day and there are not too many days of the year that you cannot kite. Most afternoons the winds come in at 4pm whilst the rest of the Cape is breathless.
Shark Bay is an ideal place to learn with shallow, warm waters and plenty of space.
Massive, sandy safe swimming and riding beach. More than enough room normally.
