Flag Beach
Head north along coast road sign posted Corralejo and Flag Beach is just after the 2 large hotels in the sand dunes before you reach Corralejo. About a 30 mins drive from the airport
Car hire is about 160 Euros/wk with roof rack an all insurance. For the best prices pre book otherwise you will be stung by the companies in the airport. Alternatively if you are alreayd in Corralejo then catch a taxi (3 Euros from Corralejo to Flag Beach) or hire a bike (25 Euros/wk).
There are lots of places to stay ranging from cheap surf hostal (12 Euros/day) to luxury villas (170 Euros/day) with pools etc. If you want ot be close to the beach and town centre then stay near Los Geranios apartments. This is about 20 mins walk to Flag Beach and 15 mins to the town centre in the opposite direction.

There are loads of tourist bars and night lfe tends to kick off late 2300 onwards. Places to visit are Corky's surf bar, Waikiki, Corners, Kiwi and for those who like karioki there is Flicks.
Bouncy castles for kids, trampolins, tennis, all water sports, loads of shops for the wife to spend money.
A 1 bed apartment sleeping 2 people costs about 50 Euros/day ( 25 each). A 2 course meal with wine will come to not more than 20 Euros/person.
Moring generally light( 6-10 knots) picking up by 1400 to a steady 15-20 knots. The wind is cross- shore from the left. You also get some days when it is onshore when it is too hot and the land heats up.
Best wind is from March-September which is when the trades are blowing but that doesn't mean the other months there isn't wind. In fact if you can go upwind in onshore chop/waves then you can kite many days during the winter months, but remember to bring the bigger kite sizes
Flat water/chop in summer and wavier during the winter sometimes big swell.

Don't kite too close to the beach with onshore wind and check witht he centre about any reefs rocks etc
Flag Beach Kitesurf centre offers rescue cover, this has to be paid for in advance and costs 30 Euros for 15 days, with this you get unlimited rescues during opening hours.
If this is not paid up in advance you still get rescued but you then have to pay 90 Euros for that 1 rescue.
Big open beach loads of room. With low water springs you have ot be carefull as there are rocks at both ends of the beach.
