Fethiye Surf Center Calis Beach
From Dalaman airport you have an option of Turkish bus (Dolmus) very cheap or taxi, which also shouldnt cost too much. The Airport is approximately 45mins by road from Calis Beach.
Accomodation is walking distance from Calis Beach, car hire is readily available.
There are also bikes, four wheelers and dune buggies for hire.

Loads of restaurants, especially along the beach esplanade, but in the city centre their are loads as well, turkish and english cuisine are available, being that there are alot of english residing there. Their are to many names to mention, just walk around and choose the one you like

well depending on where you stay and how much you want to spend, it can be as cheap as R100 per day for food, travel and accommodation, but Calis Beach has a backpackers on the beach, providing you take your own tent it cost 5 Euros per night for your site.
As above, the conditions were wickid, the wind starts usually about 10 am and blows all the way through until about 17 00. We had alot of side on shore later switching to cross shore.
I was their in May, beginning of the summer season, 30 degress celsius, we had insane wind everyday, but the summer starts from mid May to mid October.
Well this is the meditteranean so the water is very warm, we were kiting in baggies and a rash vest, but come mid June to October the water is approx 27 degrees maybe warmer. As its the Med there are no waves, unlike South Africa but we do get alot of chop, which makes everything more fun.
Only rich foreigners sailing on their luxury yachts, no rocks, reefs or sharks.
Yes, well Calis Beach is also a Kitesurfing School, the guys that run it are a family, they are such good people, friendly helpful, will go out their way to help put it that way. Quiet a few locals, will help u launch, just pat your head.

The beach rigging area is huge, basically Calis beach is its own private beach, the next closest beaches are like 1,5 km away but the whole bay is open to Kiting. Its consists of little pebbles from waters edge going 5 m up the beach it becomes sandy.
