The Kite House. A low key, very basic house for kiters with few frills.

Che Paul, a former professional gormet cook puts on some great dinners at the Kite House a couple of nights a week. There is also La Jamaca for great local fair up in the hills.

Not a great family destination at this time. It is more of an immersion destination for kiteboarders that have had an intro lesson on land and want to build the rest of the skills right up to pro class riders that want calm, fast, warm great riding conditions.

RELIABLE WIND, 19 - 24 MPH SUMMER, 16 - 25 MPH WINTER

July. Most of the year is good except for Sept. and Oct. I'm told when the trade winds drop off.

calm inside with waves outside the mangrove cays. nice riding waves up the west coast one to two hours.

Some isolated coral heads. Best to wear booties.

Virtually no local riders other than the Kite House staff including Paul Menta. This is a newly discovered spot.

The Kite House has gear provided (NEW CABRINHA KITES, BOARDS, BAR/LINES AND HARNESSES) at no extra charge to guests along with spare parts for repairs.

None that come to mind. It is so new.
