Kitesurfing Kamers 17


February 16 2006

Aaron Hadlow, Ralph Bachuster, Peter Petersen, Kevin Langeree and Greg Thijsse kitesurfed Kamers 17 today.

With some of the best kitesurfers in the world all ripping Kamers to pieces, it sure was something to watch.

Word at Kamers also has it that no more twintips are allowed there as this is now a surfing only spot.

Brandvlei September 2005


During winter, when it's overcast and windless in Cape Town you can head to Brandvlei for sunshine and strong winds.

We headed there on a cold winters day and got rewarded with sunshine and 40 knots of wind.

Kenya 2005


During July and August of 2005 iKiteboarding went to Kenya for 2 weeks of kiting paradise.

Even during winter time the temperatures in Kenya never drops below 25 degrees celcius. We kited for 13 out of the 14 days we were there. This is our story in pictures.

Cape Point


Every now and then the biggest bombs on the west coast of South Africa hits Cape Point.

When I get a call from Peter Petersen at 5 in the am I know it's going to be a big day at Cape Point.

Kurt Schmeltzer


Kurt Schmeltzer is one of Port Elizabeth's hottest exports.

When we visited Port Elizabeth they took us to a place called Blue Water Bay. The place has a little sand bank with aqua blue water and a bit of waves further out.

Aaron Hadlow


Aaron Hadlow and his family spends a lot of time training in South Africa every year.

New Year's day, 2005. I hooked up with Aaron for a photo shoot. He was on fire. He later said in a magazine interview that this was his best session ever.
