Airborne Kite Centre is located on Nyali beach within the premises of Mombasa Beach Hotel which is on the north coast of Mombasa.
A taxi from the Airport takes approximately 20 minutes and costs about 12 Euros.
Should you book an accommodation-kite centre package the transfers can be arranged.
We recommend the Mombasa Beach Hotel. Primarily because the kite centre is onsite and we offer unbeatable hotel-kite centre package deals. The hotel also boasts sea-views from all rooms!

We are located on Kenyas pristine Nyali Beach, only 15 minutes from Mombasa town. This means we are ideally situated, close to all major attractions Mombasa has to offer, yet isolated enough to enjoy the serene uncrowded beaches this stretch of coastline offers! The water temperature never drops below 24 degrees celsius and averaging a beautiful 26 degrees year round!
Our location is ideal for all levels of kiters, with perfect wide uncrowded beaches, a protected lagoon, cross-onshore winds and some awesome wave action out on the reef!
Winds are consistent year round except for the turn of winds around April-May and November which makes the wind a little less reliable.
Average kite sizes are 9 and 12 metres.
