First lessons are given in tidal lagunes in the area. Water is flat and about waist deep. Temperature varies from about 25 degrees Celsius in summer to about 16 in winter. Wetsuits are supplied if needed.
All kiteboarding equipment is supplied, including safety gear.
There is also some good waveriding in the area for the more experienced.
Wind tends to be weaker than Cape Town, ranging from about 10 to 25 knots. Perfect for learning!
However, you do get your odd 30 knots day..
Normally a 70kg person will be using a 9m kite, and a +90kg person will be on a twelve.
