Hamamatsu, home to the countries largest kite festival, has the best wind conditions and kiteboarding spots in Japan. The longest beach in Japan is located 20 minutes South of our shop. With miles of empty coastline, waves and wind, it is kiteboarding Heaven. Lake Hamana (20 minutes from our shop) which is shallow all the way out, is the best place in the country to learn. The mouth of the Tenryu river (30 minutes away) has butter flat water for wakestyle, and waves on the ocean side. The 3 best spots in Japan, and all located in one town, Hamamatsu.
