Chumpon:the local airport has been temporarily closed,you can fly to the nearby city of Surat Thani and take a van or taxi from there,it's a 2 hour drive from Surat Thani to Chumpon.You can also go by bus or train from Bangkok,travelling time is approximately 7 hours.
Another way of getting there is by boat from Koh Samui,you can fly to koh samui and then take a boat to koh phangan and then to koh tao and after that to chumpon.In Chumpon we are based at Tung Wa Laen beach which is about a 15 minute drive from the main town of Chumpon.
Phuket:there are many flights going to Phuket,we are based in the rawai area which is at the southern tip of the island.You can get there by taxi or tuk tuk.
Chumpon:there are nice bungalows right by the beach,sea beach bungalows have nice places for between 300 and 600 baht a night,if you stay for a longer time you can get a lower price.At the same beach there is also the more luxurious 3 star "cabana resort".At Tung Wa Laen beach the wind is sideshore and you can kitesurf away from right in front of your bungalow.

Our 2 kitesurfing schools are located at two of the best kitesurfing locations in Thailand, Phuket and Chumpon.Chumpon has some of the best wind conditions in South East Asia in the months November,December,March and April.In November and December this area experiences the north east trade winds,Chumpon is at a trade wind latitude and at this time of the year has much stronger winds than in the rest of Thailand,winds range from 12 to 30 knots but are around 18 to 20 knots most of the time.You have a choice of kitesurfing in small waves about 1 metre or a little higher with sideshore wind or flat water conditions.Kite sizes range between 10 and 16 square metres.
In March and April this same area experiences daily 12 to 16 knot thermal winds,making it a great place for learning.
Our teaching spots in Chumpon all have waist deep water making the learning process much easier and safer.Here you can kitesurf away from right in front of your bungalow by the beach.
Phuket has great winds in January and February and sometimes in July and August.In Phuket we also teach in shallow water,winds range between 12 and 20 knots.Average kite size is 16 square metres.
