Velauno is very easy to get to. We are located at #2430 Loiza St. in a neighborhood called "Punta las Marias". Puntas is between" Isla Verde" to the East and "Ocean Park" to the West. We are only 2 minutes from the launch site called Punta Las Marias Beach or “Velauno Beach”. There is where most of the action on Windsurfing and Kiteboarding happens.

make a left on Isla Verde Avenue. After traveling 300 meters (or 0.2 mile) up the road as it curves towards the left you will see an store Cool Runnings on your right and a Shell gas station at the front that is splitting the road in two…
just keep the car on the left road (Loiza Street) and turn your left signal on while you stop the car... we are on your left across the street from the gas station and next to the 6 story gray building housing, PR's Fire Department (see photo below).

Velauno's learn-to-kiteboard beach is Isla Verde, just minutes from our shop. The kiting conditions are ideal: side-shore winds with a wide sand beach and palm trees. Winds average 12 – 25 knots and the temperature is balmy 80F year-round. There are waves in a barrier reef about a kilometer out. If you only had one kite it would be 12 meter.
Our lesson program is private and by appointment. Using specialized training kites and boards, our IKO Certified instructors will get you up and flying in no time. The wide sandy beach is perfect for your first flights so we will help you realize your potential quickly and safely. Even parking is easy....park at Velauno and we shuttle you right to the beach!
