Water lessons cost $250 for a 3-hour session. The lessons are always private, jet ski assisted, with a certified instructor, and all gear is included.
Kiteboards are rented but kites are not.
From Oakland Airport turn left on Doolittle and go straight for about 5 miles. You will end up at Alameda beach parking lot. We are located right across the street from the 2nd parking lot.
Hawthorne Suites on Webster St. is very nice and relatively inexpensive.

Kite Wind Surf is a full-service kiteboarding and windsurfing retail shop and school; located directly across the street from Alameda's Crown Beach.
The water temperature in Alameda is slightly warmer than the average temps of the San Francisco Bay; about 65 to 70 degrees. Avergae wind speeds range from 12 to 20 mph. Bigger kites are mostly used here.
