The "Kiteboarding Ecuador" kite school is located in the beach "Santa Marianita" which is about 15 km south of the coastal city of Manta. Santa Marianita is 4 km long and is ideal for kiting. There are consistant wind conditions of 14 to 28 knots per hour. The water temperature is about 22°C. The average kite sizes are 9-12 meters, occasionally 7m are used.
