From the airport, take Hwy 98 West over the Hathaway Bridge, make a left on Thomas Dr. and follow it all the way to the beach, we are located right at the bend, where the road curves along the beach.
Plenty of condos and hotels to stay at, all right on the beach w/ great launches. Prices can range from $60 a night to $200 a night. Off season is Fall & Winter which can have awesome wind. Spring & Summer is the peak season, if you come in Spring come early, good rates, if in the Summer, come late (early Sept.)

The water is about 65 in the winter, 75 in the spring and fall & 85 in the summer. There are great waves to kite in the gulf, and lots of flat water butter in the bays, bayous & sounds. 10-12-14m kites in the Winter, Spring & Fall. 16-20m kites in the Summer. Lots of tropical storm wind in the summer, can be on a very small kite, several days straight.
Spring is the best time, due to warm water, consistent wind & tons of women on Spring Break.
We offer tours to the barrier islands for untouched butter, and we are also located near the state park for great surfing, and scuba diving.
