A semi private lesson,that is 2 students with one teacher, costs 1000 baht per person per hour.A private lesson costs 1350 baht per hour.
Chumpon is approximately 450 kilometres south of Bangkok,there are several different ways to get there,you can go there by bus or train,travelling time is approximately 7 hours,you can also fly from bangkok to surat thani,flying time is around 35 minutes,driving time from surat thani to chumpon is 2 hours.
Chumpon's airport is closed at the moment but might be opening soon.
There are bungalows right by the beach ranging in price from 7 dollars a night to 20 dollars a night,for 15 US dollars you have a bungalow with airconditioning,tv and a fridge,prices are lower if you stay for a longer period.The cheaper bungalows are basic but still comfortable,there is also the 2 to 3 star cabana resort with all it's facilities.

Kitesurf away from right in front of your bungalow at a beautiful beach.In Chumpon we teach in waist deep water at scenic locations using the IKO method of teaching BUT with one important difference,:we teach a maximum of 2 students per one teacher and NOT 4 students per one teacher,private lessons are of course also available.The fact that we keep groups very small and teach in waist deep water makes learning much faster,easier and safer.
In Chumpon the water and air temperature remain tropical throughout the year.
During the Thai winter months November and December the wind averages 18 to 20 knots most of the time and the temperature is nice and cool between 26 and 28 degrees celsius.
During March and April daily thermal winds blow between 12 and 16 knots,this time of the year is hotter but the wind has a nice cooling effect,the nights by the sea are cool.
During the north east monsoon which blows in November and December you have the choice of flat water kiting or kiting in the waves with a sideshore wind.
