The school is located in one of the hottest Kitesurfing spots in New Caledonia, on the Meridien Hotel beach. You will also be able to enjoy lessons on nearby islets which offer perfect condition for beginners to advanced kitesurfers.
During the warm season (Sept-April) the average wind is between 15 and 25 knots with a water temperature around 25 to 30°C. You will usually use a kite between 10 to 12m (for a 75Kg person).
In the cooler season (May-Aug), the wind is a bit lighter with an average of 10 to 15 knots. You will use a 12 to 16m kite. The water temperature is aslo cooler, around 22°C, so don't forget your wetsuit!!!
The best time of the year to come to learn to kitesurf is during the warm season, between Sept to April.
