lesson costs 200 dirham/hr/person.
Equipment rental is 250 dhs per 2 hours, or 400 for a day.

Directions to School

Ask to go to Umm suqueim in direction of Burj Al Arab on the beach road. 400 m after KFC , there is an ENOC petrol station need to take the first right exit after this petrol station and you are on the beach.

Accommodation near School

Accomodation recommended is best taken as a whole package with the airline ticket as it is much cheaper. Furnished apts available like golden Sands, Silver sands which are about 5min away from the beach by car.

Description

Mobile school with IKO instructors (no construction is allowed on the beach yet) and booking is essential. Wind is moderate almost all year with average 13-14knots, occasionally wind gets stronger and goes up to 20knots between January and june. Water temperature gets cool around 23 deg. between December and May and short 2mm wet suit is enough however is still kitable in board shorts/bikinis. During Summer, June till beginning of Oct air temperature could reach 48 degrees centigrade and water is warm. Protection for skin and head is recommended and drinking a lot of water is essential.
wind direction varies between side on to on shore and small waves, chops are common. Average kite size is 16m for a 75 kg rider . you will see more big sizes kites here. A common combination here is 16 and 12m for a 75kg rider.

Season

All year, however there are no guarantees that at a certain time of the year it is going to be windy. More windy days are between December and July in general.
