Diamondblue Kiteboarding is situated on beautiful, scenic Block Island which is a short ferry ride from Point Judith, Rhode Island. It is the perfect venue to learn how to kiteboard. There is almost always enough wind to get you up on the water. The area where the lessons take place are inside the lagoon, have wide open sandy areas and calm shallow waters with a sandy bottom. Winds during the summer are almost always south or south west which are cross onshore and perfect for learning. The water temperature is generally warmer inside the lagoon which makes for a pleasant learning experience and more time in the water. The island has miles of sandy beaches, offering both wave and flat water riding. Lastly, you have the option to kite on any wind direction. Block Island is truly a kiteboarders' paradise for beginners to experts.
