In the very south of Egypt - only 100 km to the boarder of Sudan - you will find on the end of the road to the south the lonesome place Wadi Lahami.
Here you will find a perfect lagoon for Kiteboarding beginners, cross a 500 m far passage you can surf into the open red sea. Here you find swell - up to 2 m. At 2 special places you have a point break ! You use all year kites between 7 and 14 sqm - you have only some days for the big ones up to 20 m ! the windsituation is a more constant one if you compare it to the situation in El Gouna or Hurghada. Minimum water temperature in january is 19` and it goes up in summer to 27 and more !
