GLK was the first kiteboarding school in Michigan. It was founded by Brian LeFeve in 2001.
Michigan has some of the best conditions for learning and riding in the world. Water lessons start in June and go through October. We offer two day camps on Lake Huron and private lessons on Lake St. Clair.
The wind in the summer averages 12-25 and spring and fall averages 15- 30 dependent on weather fronts.
The Tawas kite camps offer rides out to the pointe. Wakeboarding and wakesurfing on non windy days and we offer kayak rentals.
