The Kitespot is situated in the bay of Mikri Vigla on a nice and large sandy beach! The place to start at the Flisvos Kite Spot is leeward protected by the beach. All kiters which are not so experienced will end up downwind on the sandy beach and can walk back easily. Baywatch and safety services are guaranteed by the local staff; rescue boat is available. The spot is suitable to good kiters as well as beginners. The water temperature is in May about 19°C until 24°C in August/September. In July and August strong wind caused by the meltemi will be possible(until 6Bft). All over the year 3-4 bft are normal and nearly every day. Main wind direction is side onshore from northerly directions, waves are starting up to 5-6 Bft. School- and rental equipment is from Best kite boarding, Cabrinha and RRD; available are approx. 35 kites and 15 boards.
