In East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, the popular Kiteboarding beach is Cherating and Balok Beach. On any day from Nov to Feb with more than 10 to 20 knots of breeze beside the moonsoon season only 5 to 10 knots. Spectators are always amazed to watch the kiteboarders in action. To get to Cherating or Balok Beach, follow the Karak Highway east from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan beach. From there, you can't miss the fluorescent kites shooting across the beach.
